Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan visits and gives gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and Heroes of the People’s Armed Forces in Lang Son city

On the occasion of the 2023 Lunar New Year, on the afternoon of December 28, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan visited and presented gifts to the Heroic Vietnamese Mother and Hero of the People’s Armed Forces in Lang Son city.

Joining the delegation were leaders of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Office of the President.
On the provincial side, there were Mr.Nguyen Quoc Doan, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Ho Tien Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; leaders of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, a number of provincial departments and sectors; leaders of the Party Committee, People’s Committee of Lang Son city.

During the program, the Vice President visited and presented gifts to two policy families, including: Vietnamese heroic mother Nguyen Thi Kim in block 5, Vinh Trai ward, and Hero of the People’s Armed Forces Nguyen Nhu Hanh, a 2/4 class wounded soldier, in block 11, Hoang Van Thu ward, Lang Son city.

At the visiting places, the Vice President and members of the central and provincial delegations graciously cared about the health and life of policy families. On behalf of the Party and State leaders, the Vice President expressed deep gratitude for the great merits and sacrifices of families in the struggle to build and defend the Fatherland.
On the occasion of the coming New Year, the Vice President gave gifts, wishing the Heroic Mother of Vietnam, the Hero of the People’s Armed Forces to live a happy, healthy, peaceful and happy life, always being an example and spiritual support for the family, homeland and country.
She wished that the descendants of the two policy families would continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, follow in the footsteps of their ancestors, and make positive contributions to the socio-economic development of the country in general and of Lang Son province in particular.
