Provincial leaders offer incense to commemorate heroic martyrs at the house of stele inscribed with the name of martyrs in Huu Khanh commune

On the morning of January 27, the provincial delegation led by Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Quoc Doan offered incense to commemorate heroic martyrs at the house of stele inscribed with the name of martyrs in Huu Khanh commune, Loc Binh district.

The stele inscribed with the names of martyrs in Huu Khanh commune records the names of 357 martyrs, including 315 officers and soldiers of Division 327 and 42 outstanding children of Huu Khanh commune who heroically fought and sacrificed to protect the country.

To commemorate and pay tribute to heroes and martyrs, in July 2022, the People’s Committee of Loc Binh district coordinated with the 327 Economic and Defense Union to build a stele house inscribed with the name of martyrs in Huu Khanh commune. The project has a total area of 532m2, with a total investment of 550 million VND, inaugurated in December 2022.

The stele inscribed with the names of martyrs in Huu Khanh commune is a cultural and spiritual work honoring the heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed for the defense of the Fatherland; which is a address of traditional patriotic education for officials, soldiers and local people and a symbol of national unity…

In a dignified atmosphere, the provincial delegation respectfully laid wreaths, offered incense in memory, expressed their deep gratitude for the merits of heroes and martyrs who fought and sacrificed themselves for independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
