Lang Son students won bronze medals at the 2023 Korea International Youth Olympiad 4I (KIYO-4i)

On August 9, in Seoul (Korea), a group of students from Chu Van An High School for the Gifted, Lang Son City won a bronze medal at the 2023 Korea International Youth Olympiad 4I  (KIYO-4i).

The Korea International Youth Olympiad 4I is an international science competition organized to encourage the younger generation to constantly be creative, explore and discover, thereby developing talents in science and technology.

KIYO-4i is organized by the  World Women Inventors and Entrepreneurs Association (WWIEA) and sponsored by many scientific organizations around the world such as: World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), Eurasian Patent Organization (EAPO), International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA), Seoul National University, etc.

Participating in the competition, the team of Chu Van An High School for the Gifted consisted of 3 students: Pham Son Binh; Ho Tuan Anh; Nguyen Duc Manh (grade 11B specializing in Physics) with the topic “Using nanoparticles as drug delivery materials” excellently won a bronze medal at the competition.

It is known that from August 7 to August 9, 2023, The 2023 Korea International Youth Olympiad 4I (KIYO-4i) attracted the participation of hundreds of teams from 10 countries around the world.

Overcoming student teams from other countries, the Vietnamese student team excellently won 2 gold medals, 1 bronze medal and 2 special prizes.
