Final of the startup idea contest: Awarding 8 prizes to authors and groups of authors with excellent projects

On November 22, the Standing Committee of Lang Son Provincial Youth Union organized the Final round of the 2023 “Startup Ideas” contest and the discussion “Youth with the creative startup ecosystem”.

The “Startup Ideas” contest among union members and young people launched from June 2023. After nearly 2 months of implementation, the Organizing Committee has received more than 100 participating projects from 11 districts and unions. Through the preliminary judging rounds, the jury selected 8 typical projects to participate in the final round of the contest.

In the final round, authors and groups of authors present their ideas, startup projects, project feasibility, expected revenue and profits as well as propose support and investment. At the same time, the authors and author groups also answered questions from members of the jury, as well as investors. At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 2 third prizes and 4 consolation prizes to authors and groups of authors. In particular, the high-tech agricultural production project combined with tourism and experiential education of the author group Dong Tan Rainbow farm and Huu Lung District Youth Union excellently won the first prize. The Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association supported 10 million VND for the team of authors who won first prize to develop the project. Also in the program, Thien Phu Construction Trading Co., Ltd. committed to supporting the development of a project to build an eco-tourism model in Loc Binh district and a project to preserve and develop traditional wormwood cakes in Lang Son city.
