Lang Son assists China’s Guangxi in nCoV fight

(LSO) – On February 6, a delegation of Lang Son authorities led by Party Central Committee member and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Lam Thi Phuong Thanh presented medical supplies to the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China to assist the Chinese region in the fight against the 2019 novel coronavirus (nCoV).

 Present at the handover event at the Huu Nghi International Border Gate (Cao Loc district), was Vice Chairman of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Yang Jinbai.

Lang Son supplied Guangxi with 350,000 medical face masks. This is the second time since early this month the province has provided medical supplies as aid to Guangxi.

The official of Guangxi thanked Lang Son for the practical assistance at a time Guangxi is facing many difficulties in preventing and coping with the disease.

Secretary of the Lang Son Party Committee Lam Thi Phuong Thanh said her province sympathises with the difficulties and losses that China and the world are facing in the combat against the nCoV-caused acute respiratory disease.

She called on both sides to keep close coordination in preventing and controlling the virus, thus preventing it from affecting their development.
