Delegates from 16 provinces in the Northern region attend a training conference in legal profession in Lang Son

On the afternoon of June 29, in Lang Son city, Lang Son province, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a training conference on legal profession and popularized legal documents on Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2023.

Attending the conference were the Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee Doan Thu Ha. On the central side, there were Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Doan Van Viet, leaders of departments, agencies and institutes under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Departments of Tourism from 16 Northern provinces.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism emphasized: “In 2022 and the first 6 months of 2023, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has advised to submit to competent authorities and promulgate according to its competence 35 legal documents. This is the largest number of legal documents issued since the beginning of the term, showing the ministry’s determination to focus on completing legal institutions and policies.” He suggested that localities continue to popularize and effectively implement the provisions of the legal documents of the sector, especially new ones, through the training conference.”

Speaking at the conference, the Vice Chairwoman of the People’s Committee of Lang Son province said: “The training conference contributes to the effective implementation of the decisions, plans and directives of the Secretariat on strengthening the Party’s leadership in law dissemination and education, raising awareness of officials and people about law observance. At the same time, it helps to fully and promptly popularize the legal documents of the sector to the officials and civil servants on Culture, Sports and Tourism , to link law dissemination with law enforcement, ensuring suitability with practice, thereby improving the effectiveness and efficiency of State management.”

She also expressed her desire to receive valuable information from the reporters and good models and creative ways to learn, accumulate experience and apply into the province. At the same time, the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism was requested to perform well the tasks assigned by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

During the conference, the delegates listened to four main topics, including the introduction of new documents in Culture, Sports and Tourism sector; the profession of developing legal documents in the locality and some contents that the localities need to study to develop legislation in the field of Culture, Sports and Tourism; renovation and improvement on legal education dissemination; some issues of inspecting, reviewing and monitoring the implementation of legal documents in the field of Culture, Sports and Tourism. In addition, the delegates contributed ideas, exchanged, discussed and shared difficulties and problems on related contents.

The training conference was organized to improving the qualifications and professionalism in the development and issuance of legal documents for leaders, officials and civil servants in the culture, sports and tourism sector in the localities. This is also an opportunity for Lang Son province to introduce about the land and people of Lang Son to others.
