Lang Son wins B prize in general at the Elderly Singing Festival in the Northern provinces and cities

From September 29 to September 30, in Ha Tinh province, the Vietnam Central Association of the Elderly (AE) coordinated with the People’s Committee of Ha Tinh province to organize the Elderly Singing Festival in the Northern provinces and cities in 2023.

The festival witnessed the participation of 400 actors from 26 delegations in the area, 15 of them were from Lang Son province. The delegations brought to the festival more than 90 performances of many genres, methodically and meticulously choreographed, focusing on praising the glorious Party, Uncle Ho, the love for the homeland and the country, praising good traditions of Vietnamese elderly… In which, the delegation of Lang Son participated in 4 performances.

At the end of the festival, the organizing committee awarded prizes to groups with high achievements. As a result, the Lang Son delegation won the B prize in general and had 2 performances winning the best singing and performance prizes, including Then singing medley and Chau dance “My hometown Xu Lang” and “Vietnamese elderly song”.

The Elderly Singing Festival of Northern provinces and cities is an opportunity to exchange, learn and promote local culture; contributing to improving spiritual life, encouraging the elderly to live healthily and happily.
