Last September, 2022, the company’s sugar-free corn noodle product was recognized as a typical rural industrial product in the Northern region in 2022.

In early October 2022, having the opportunity to visit the sugar-free corn noodle factory of Thanh An Trading Company Limited, we were surprised by the modern machinery system. Through talking with Mr. Nong Ngoc Trung, the company’s director, we learned that Thanh An Trading Company Limited was established in 2011, operating in the field of agricultural, forestry, fishery and food processing. In particular, sugar-free corn noodles have been put into production since 2018.

 Specifically, before producing the product, Mr. Trung had time to study and survey the market in foreign countries, and found that the separated corn noodle product is very suitable for people on a diet, in particular, the product made from corn should be easy to eat and can be used every day, from then on, he decided to produce sugar-free corn noodles. Accordingly, he built a factory with an area of 2.6 hectares and invested in a machinery system of about 50 billion VND, including modern machines imported from abroad such as crushers, sugar separators, mixers and dryers… to produce quality products that meet export standards.

Mr. Nong Ngoc Trung said: Currently, the company uses cold drying technology to dry agricultural products, thus saving production costs and labor. On average, the company produces 12 tons of finished noodles per day. In particular, to ensure product quality, the company focuses on the selection of input materials. With the main raw material is native yellow corn, I buy from people in the province and some neighboring provinces, especially, products made from pure corn flour with the rate of 95% corn flour, 5% vermicelli powder.

Not only that, since the beginning of production, the company has paid attention to building packaging, labels and containers to ensure requirements and standards for export. Currently, the company’s sugar-free corn noodles are sold for 200,000 VND/kg and are mainly exported to countries such as Canada, the Netherlands, etc.; Part of it is consumed domestically. Corn noodles are delicious and can be processed into many dishes.

Mrs. Nong Thi Choi, Tam Thanh ward, Lang Son city said: I know about the corn noodle product of Thanh An Company through exhibitions in the province and bought it to try. I find this product very easy to eat and can be processed into many dishes such as boiled, fried, can be eaten every day, especially suitable for dieters because the product has been separated from sugar, which is very good for health.

In addition, to affirm the brand of corn sugar-free noodles, the establishment participated in the program to vote for typical rural industrial products. In 2021, the company’s sugar-free noodles will be recognized as a typical rural industrial product at the provincial level; In September 2022, the company’s sugar-free corn noodles was recognized by the local Department of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Industry and Trade as a typical rural industrial product in the North.

In the production process, the company pays special attention to branding, applying advanced machines to production, therefore, the company’s sugar-free corn noodles are more and more known and the consumption market is constantly expanding. On average, each year, the establishment produces and consumes over 3,600 tons of noodles, bringing in a revenue of over 700 billion VND/year. In addition, the company also creates jobs for 15 local workers, with an income of 7 million VND/person/month. In order to have production materials, the company has now developed a plan to develop planting areas in a number of districts in the province such as Van Lang, Loc Binh with an area of 70 hectares.
