Provincial Business Association deploys tasks of 2024

On December 26, the Executive Committee of the Provincial Business Association held a conference to summarize activities in 2023 and deploy tasks of 2024. Attending were representatives of the Department of Planning and Investment.

According to the report, in 2023, although the global and regional situation has experienced complicated developments, the COVID-19 pandemic has still negatively impacted on the production activities of businesses. However, despite difficulties and challenges, the Provincial Business Association continues to affirm its role as a center of solidarity, connection and encouragement for the business community to uphold the spirit of self-reliance to maintain production and business, creating jobs for workers.

Additionally, the Provincial Business Association successfully organized the Provincial Business Association Congress for the term 2023 – 2028; coordinated and mobilized to establish 4 new district-level business associations; well implemented working programs and regulations to coordinate with departments and sectors to remove difficulties and obstacles in production and business in 2023…

Moreover, member businesses continue to perform well their social responsibilities such as donating to the implementation of social security programs in the area, specifically supporting the construction of border patrol roads with more than 2 billion VND and investing in 3 branch roads to border markers, building houses of great solidarity; presenting gifts to beneficiaries of preferential policies, funding the construction of commune police office…

A representative of member businesses comments on the operating regulations of the Provincial Business Association

Regarding the operating direction for 2024, the Provincial Business Association sets out 6 key tasks including promoting activities of member associations, recruiting new members, organizing a survey of production and trading activities of businesses, receiving recommendations from member businesses to remove difficulties and obstacles, preparing activities to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Vietnam Business Association, mobilizing businesses to promote production and business emulation, opening training activities, launching emulation campaigns to celebrate major holidays in the year for member businesses.

Within the conference, the Executive Committee of the Provincial Business Association elected additional personnel for the Association’s Standing Committee for the term 2023 – 2028 and approved the operating regulations of the Standing Committee, Inspection Committee of the Provincial Business Association for the term 2023 – 2028. Accordingly, Mr. Ly Duc Thanh, Member of the 3^rd Executive Committee of the Provincial Business Association for the 2023 – 2028 term, was additionally elected by the Executive Committee of the Provincial Business Association to act as Vice Chairman of the Provincial Business Association for the term 2023 – 2028.
