To date, the Huu Lung People’s Committee has approved a plan on compensation and land clearance costing 1.6 billion VND designated for 177 affected households and individuals. The construction began in late November last year, and it is projected to complete by May.

Relevant agencies have spared no efforts and arranged personnel and equipment to carry out the project, thereby ensuring its schedule in a bid to meet the due date.

Speaking at the working trip, Thieu underlined that to ensure progress and quality of the project, Huu Lung district needs to complete land clearance this month.

The investor and contractors were asked to ensure quality of the project, strengthen monitoring, and ensure labour safety and environmental hygiene during the construction.

They were also requested to complete procedures to speed up capital disbursement and take advantage of favourable weather to accelerate the construction, as well as minimise its negative impacts on local people’s agricultural land.
