Dinh Lap District Party Congress was successful

(LSO) – On August 4, 2020, Dinh Lap District Party Committee solemnly organized the 24th Congress, term 2020 – 2025.
Mr. Ho Tien Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee attended and directed the congress. Attending the congress were the leaders of the Provincial People’s Council, the Provincial People’s Committee, the Provincial-level Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the leaders of some provincial committees and agencies.

During the 2015-2020 term, the District Party Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of Dinh Lap District Party Committee has always united in leading and directing all levels and sectors to arouse the efforts of the entire party, authorities and people of all ethnic groups in the district. Thereby, the district has achieved and exceeded 21 out of 21 targets set out in the congress resolutions.
In particular, the district’s socio-economy has been gradually improved, agro-forestry production has well developed. The annual budget revenue has reached and exceeded the assigned targets, the construction of new rural areas has exceeded the set targets.

Specifically, the production value in the district increases on average 8.9% per year; The income per capita has increased rapidly, in 2020 it is estimated to reach 36.7 million VND per person per year. The forestry economy development has been focused, each year, the people newly plant more than 1,270 hectares of forest, increasing the forest cover to 76.2%. By early 2020, the rate of poor households in the whole district was 12.58%, decreasing by 29.36% (compared to 2015), the average annual reduction of 5.87%.
Culture, society, sports and tourism have many positive changes; health and education work is improved; social security is guaranteed; poverty reduction is directed to implement effectively; the people’s material and spiritual life is stable and continues to be improved; national defense and security, social order and safety are maintained.

The Party building and the political system building are focused. In the past term, the District Party Committee has admitted 622 party members, reaching 124.4% of the planned target; the leadership mode of the party committees at all levels has been renovated; the sense of responsibility, working capacity of cadres, civil servants and officials at all levels has been increasingly raised.
In the 2020-2025 term, Dinh Lap District Party Committee will continue to improve its leadership and fighting capacity; promoting democracy, the power of national great unity; strengthening national defense, security and foreign affairs; mobilizing all resources, effectively exploiting potentials and advantages to soon bring Dinh Lap district out of poverty and develop.

The congress analyzed and assessed achieved results and limitations in the 2015-2020 term. At the same time, they discussed solutions to implement the targets on fields in the 2020-2025 tenure.
Speaking at the congress, Mr. Ho Tien Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee acknowledged and praised the achievements of Dinh Lap District’s Party Committee, authorities and People of ethnic groups in the past term.
He emphasized that in the 2020-2025 term, the District Party Executive Committee should be active and persistent to profoundly change the awareness of cadres, party members and people, at each level, each sector, each area on socio-economic development requirements and tasks, ensuring national defense and security, building the Party and building the district’s political system in the coming period.
At the same time, the district needs to focus on leading and directing to attract and mobilize maximum resources inside and outside the locality to invest in socio-economic infrastructure; attaching importance to attracting enterprises to invest in agriculture and rural areas, processing agro-forestry products; continuing promoting the strength of forest and hill economy, developing large timber trees to form raw material forests and so on.
The congress elected the District Party Executive Committee, term 2020-2025; Mr. Hoang Xuan Thuan, the District Party Committee Secretary of the 2015-2020 term was elected to be the District Party Committee Secretary of the 2020-2025 term; electing the Delegation to attend the 17th Provincial Party Congress, tenure 2020 – 2025 and voted to pass the congress resolutions.
