Lang Son- Discussed draft documents for the 20th meeting of the Provincial People’s Council, term XVI

(LSO) – On October 1st , the Standing Committee of Lang Son’s Provincial People’s Council held a joint meeting to discuss the tentative working program and draft content for the twentieth session of the provincial People’s Council term XVI, term 2016-2021.

Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council chaired the conference. Attending the conference were Mr. Ho Tien Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; leaders of the provincial People’s Council, the provincial People’s Council and a number of presentative from departments and branches.

At the conference, delegates highly agreed with the outlined  content for the twentieth session of the provincial People’s Council term XVI, term 2016-2021.The 20th meeting will  be scheduled to take place in 2 days and a half, from December 8 to 10, 2020.

The session will be expected to be a platform for provincial leaders  to discuss the contents of 21 reports, 27 proposals and 29 resolutions submitted by the Provincial People’s Council, the Provincial People’s Committee, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial Judicial Offices, the Provincial Party Committee and other localities.

Speaking at the conference, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People’s Council required that relevant and functional departments and branches prepare documents carefully in order to ensure the quality of the discussion.

Supporting teams of the Provincial People’s Council should examine the draft resolutions and prepare facilities to create the best conditions for the organization of the meeting. He also emphasized that the Provincial members of should promote activities of meeting local people and propaganda before, during and after the meeting.

The highlights of the working programme was to discuss the results of implementing the Resolution No. 58 dated on December 10, 2019 by the Provincial People’s Council on the 2020 public investment plan in Lang Son province; Resolution No. 08 dated  December 10th 2019 by the Provincial People’s Council on specific policies to encourage investment, develop cooperation, link production and consumption of agricultural and rural products in Lang Son province.

Regarding this mentioned content, Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council suggested that in the coming time the Provincial People’s Committee would  continue to instruct relevant departments, departments, branches, and People’s Committees of districts and cities and investors to speed up the implementation of projects and disburse public investment capital by 2020, especially ODA capital and national target program capital, strengthen coordination and organization of inspection and supervision of investors on project progress and quality, urge investors to complete acceptance and payment documents, and drastically carry out site clearance.

Regarding Resolution No. 08, he proposed that the Provincial People’s Committee and related agencies continue to promote communication to businesses, cooperatives, production households, and groups of production households in the province about the administrative policies and procedures related to the policy implementation of the resolution. Another important  task of the meeting was to review and evaluate eligible projects and proposed projects, and disburse all balanced capital sources; investigate difficulties and problems to find out solutions, promptly guide and support investors so that the policy could become effective.
