Provincial leaders cast their ballots at different polling stations

– On May 23, along with more than 69 million voters nationwide, more than 573 thousand voters in the province voted to elect the Member of the 15th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term. Provincial leaders and voters participated in voting at different polling stations in the province.

Mrs. Lam Thi Phuong Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Election Steering Committee attended the opening ceremony and cast the first vote to elect the Member of the 15th National Assembly and the People’s Councils, term 2021 – 2026 at polling area No.10, culture house of Cua Nam block, Chi Lang ward, Lang Son city.

Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council voted to elect the Member of the 15th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term.

Mr.  Nguyen Quoc Khanh, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Organization Commission of Provincial Party Committee, attended the opening ceremony and voted at polling area No. 1, cultural house of block No. 1 + 2, Dong Kinh ward, Lang city Son, for choosing the Member of the 15th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels, term 2021 – 2026.

Mrs. Doan Thi Loan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Inspection Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, cast her vote at polling area No. 1, Khon Khuyen village, Mai Pha commune, Lang Son city.

Mr. Doan Thanh Son, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Internal Affairs Commission of the Provincial Party Committee, cast his vote at polling area No.10, Vinh Trai ward, Lang Son city.

Mrs. Giap Thi Bac, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Mass Mobilization Commission of Provincial Party Committee cast her vote at polling area No. 8, culture house of Cua Dong block, Chi Lang ward, Lang Son city.

Mr. Phung Quang Hoi, Member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, Head of Propaganda and Education Commission of Provincial Party Committee, cast his vote at polling area No. 5, cultural house of  block 5, Vinh Trai ward, Lang Son city.

Colonel Le Xuan Thuan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, cast his ballot at polling area No. 15, Provincial Military Command, Chi Lang ward, Lang Son city.

Colonel Thai Hong Kong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Provincial Public Security Department participated in voting at polling area No. 14, the headquaters of Provincial Public Security Department, Chi Lang ward, Lang Son city.

Mr. Nguyen Cong Truong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Lang Son City Party Committee cast his vote at the cultural house of block 1, Tam Thanh ward, Lang Son city.

Mrs. Doan Thu Ha, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee participated in voting at polling area No. 10, cultural house of block 11, Vinh Trai ward, Lang Son city.

Mr. Luong Trong Quynh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee cast his vote at polling area No. 4, Deo Giang block, Chi Lang ward, Lang Son city.

Election activities in the areas took place solemnly and in accordance with the law, ensuring the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic.

According to data from the Department of Home Affairs of Lang Son province – the standing agency of the Provincial Election Committee, by 7:00 p.m. on May 23, voters in the whole province participated in voting compared to the list of voters reaching 571,283/571,369 voters, equal to 99.985% (due to the Covid-19 epidemic situation, voter data fluctuates from time to time).

In which, there are 2 over 11 districts and cities; 186 over 200 communes, wards and townships and 1,543 over 1,562 election teams had 100% of voters participating in casting their ballots.

Specifically, two districts with 100% voter participation rate are Bac Son and Van Lang districts. The remaining districts and Lang Son city have the voter turnout rate from 99.924% to 99.998%.

Security,  order, and disease prevention at polling stations are all guaranteed.
