Lighting candles in gratitude to heroes and martyrs

On the evening of July 24, at the martyrs cemetery of Lang Son city, the Provincial Youth Union, the Provincial Youth Association in collaboration with the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province, Viettel Lang Son to held the ceremony “Lighting candles in gratitude to heroes and martyrs” on the 75th anniversary of the day of war invalids and martyrs (July 27, 47 – July 27, 2022). Attending the ceremony were Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Ho Tien Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, together with leaders of departments, agencies, armed forces, relatives of martyrs and more than 500 union members and young people in Lang Son city.

Leader of the Provincial Youth Union expressed gratitude to heroic martyrs, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, relatives of martyrs, and families of people with meritorious services to the revolution.

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the youth of the whole province, the leader of the Provincial Youth Union expressed her gratitude and deep gratitude to the heroes and martyrs, the wounded and sick soldiers, the relatives of the martyrs, families of people with meritorious services to the revolution. At the same time, she promised to continue to promote the good traditions of the predecessors’ generations, promote the intelligence, creativity, impulsiveness, volunteering to go anywhere, do anything when the Fatherland and the People need.

Provincial leaders gave gifts to families with meritorious services to the revolution in Cao Loc district and Lang Son city.

At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee gave 24 gifts to families with meritorious services to the revolution in Cao Loc district and Lang Son city.

Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation offered incense at the memorial of heroic martyrs.

At the gratitude candle-lighting ceremony, delegates and youth union members spent a minute of silence in memory of the heroes and martyrs who heroically sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland; respectfully offer incense and flowers to pay respects to the previous generations who have devoted their life to the independence and freedom of the nation.

In the evening of 24/7, the youth unions of districts and city simultaneously held a candle-lighting ceremony to pay tribute to heroes and martyrs at cemeteries and memorials in the province.
