Provincial National Assembly Delegation meets voters in Binh Gia and Bac Son districts

On October 5, the Provincial Delegation of the 15th National Assembly included Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Member of the Economic Committee of the National Assembly, Head of the Provincial Delegation of the National Assembly; Mr. Trieu Quang Huy, Member of the Finance and Budget Committee of the National Assembly, Deputy Head of the Provincial Delegation of the National Assembly; Mrs. Chu Thi Hong Thai, Member of the National Assembly’s Ethnic Minority Council, Deputy Chief of the Office of the Provincial Farmers’ Association, and a member of the Provincial National Assembly, met voters in Binh Gia and Bac Son districts.

Specifically, on the morning of October 5, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation met voters in clusters of 3 communes: Thien Long, Tan Hoa, Hoa Binh (Binh Gia district); On the afternoon of October 5, the delegation met voters in cluster of 3 communes: Chien Thang, Vu Son, Vu Le (Bac Son district).

At the meetings, the Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly  informed voters about the expected agenda of the 4th session of the 15th National Assembly and the operation situation in the first 9 months of 2022 of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly. Accordingly, the meeting is expected to open on October 20, 2022, and close on November 18, 2022. At this session, the National Assembly will consider and approve 7 bills and give opinions on 7 bills. Along with that, the National Assembly will  discuss socio-economic issues, state budget, supervision and other important issues.

In the first 9 months of the year, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation attended the National Assembly meetings, activities of agencies under the National Assembly, the National Assembly Standing Committee; organized to collect comments from a number of agencies and units in the province on 7 draft laws. At the same time, the delegation coordinated with the Standing Committee of the People’s Council, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province to organize the supervision in the province on 4 topics at the request of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee; ; organized regular meetings with voters after the 2nd session, before and after the 3rd session of the 15th National Assembly in 37 communes and commune clusters in 8 districts with a total of nearly 900 voters attending; participated in 14 periodical citizen receptions at the provincial citizen reception office…

At the meetings, voters expressed their opinions and recommendations focusing on the following contents: investment in construction of transport infrastructure, education, telecommunications, electricity and irrigation; allocation of forest land to households lacking production land; salary regime of commune-level cadres and civil servants; allowances for part-time workers at commune and village levels; the development of agriculture, the collective economy; policies for families of people with meritorious services; policies for people in safe communes in Bac Son district…

After listening to voters’ opinions, leaders of relevant provincial departments and sectors and leaders of two districts answered and clarified a number of issues within their competence.

Speaking at the meeting, the Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly clarified a number of opinions interested by voters. At the same time, he shared difficulties with voters, and hoped that voters would continue to well abide by the Party’s guidelines and the State’s laws and policies, actively rise up, and contribute to socio-economic development.

On behalf of the delegation, he fully absorbed the recommendations of the voters, the delegation will synthesize and transfer to the competent authorities for consideration and settlement in the near future.

The head of the provincial National Assembly Delegation also suggested that leaders of departments and sectors of the province and district, on the basis of their functions, tasks and competence, closely coordinate in formulating plans and implementing early solutions to remove difficulties and problems of voters.
