Provincial Fatherland Front Committee – Department of Agriculture and Rural Development: Signing a program to coordinate in implementing the task of agricultural and rural construction and development for the period of 2023-2025

On the afternoon of June 22, the Standing Board of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development held a signing ceremony for the program of cooperation in performing the task of agricultural and rural construction and development in the period of 2023 – 2025.

Attending the event were Mr. Nong Luong Chan, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

At the ceremony, the two sides discussed and agreed on the contents of the program to coordinate in implementing the task of agricultural and rural construction and development in the province in the period of 2023-2025. In particular, it will focus on promoting propaganda, mobilization and raising awareness of each people, family and community to well implement the guidelines of the Party, policies and laws of the State on position, the role of agriculture, farmers and rural areas in the new development period; coordinate in effectively implementing the new rural construction program, the movement “Lang Son joins forces with the whole country to build a new countryside” in association with the campaign “All people unite to build a new countryside and a civilized city” , one commune one product (OCOP) program.

The two sides cooperate in organizing the collection of people’s satisfaction on the results of building new rural areas, enhanced new rural areas and model new rural areas; building and replicating typical models in new rural construction, economic development and poverty reduction in rural areas. At the same time, the two sides also coordinate in the field of training, exchange of experiences, supplement knowledge, support people to access policies on agriculture, farmers and rural areas; coordinate in the inspection and supervision of the implementation of the State’s policies and laws on agriculture and new rural construction.

On the basis of the cooperation contents, the two sides committed to regularly exchange information and periodically work, implement tasks, solve problems arising during the implementation of the program. Annually, the two sides develop content and coordination plan for implementation and report on evaluation of implementation results and agree on the next year’s plan; uniformly select specific tasks to be implemented for each year or each period; coordinate in preliminarily, summarizing and rewarding individuals and groups in the program implementation.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, the Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee emphasized the meaning and importance of the agricultural and rural development program in the area. He affirmed the roles and responsibilities of the two agencies in the implementation of the program to coordinate the implementation of the task of agricultural and rural construction and development.

He suggested: Based on the contents of the signing program, The two sides need to strengthen coordination to effectively implement the directives, resolutions, guidelines of the Party, policies and laws of the State on promoting the strength of great solidarity to build agriculture, farmers and rural areas; promote the implementation of tasks in the National Target Program on building new rural areas for the period of 2023-2025. At the same time, they two sides focus on coordination in propaganda and advocacy for implementation of digital transformation in agricultural production and product promotion; renew thinking, especially economic thinking for the people, promote the role of the people in participating in rural economic development and building a new countryside.
