Draft political report to be submitted to provincial Party Congress discussed

(LSO) – Permanent Vice Secretary of the Lang Son provincial Party Committee Hoang Van Nghiem, who is also Chairman of the provincial People’s Council and deputy head of the sub-committee for the 17th provincial Party Congress documents, chaired a conference on February 4 discussing the second draft of the political report to be submitted to the 17th provincial Party Congress.

Through studying the draft report and listening to the overall review of the drafting of the political report to submit to the 17th provincial Party Congress, delegates agreed that the report has reasonable and concise structure (over 30 pages), assessing comprehensively the outcomes of implementing socio-economic development goals in 2015-2020.

Participants gave opinions on the achievements and shortcomings in socio-economic development, and security-defence in 2015-2020.

They also suggested supplementing necessary contents to the report such as evaluating and forecasting the domestic and international situation, building targets, orientations and solutions to implement development tasks for specific fields in the new tenure.

Concluding the meeting, Permanent Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Hoang Van Nghiem asked members of the sub-committee and congress document drafting groups to continue reviewing and editing the content.

He asked them to exert more efforts to complete the report in a concise and logical manner, highlighting remarkable achievements in economy, politics and Party building in 2015-2020, as well as pointing out key targets and missions for each field.
