Students of Chu Van An High School entered the final of the English speaking contest

(LSO) – On September 14, participating in the Speak To Lead English Speak Contest held by the US Embassy and Consulate in Vietnam in collaboration with Hocmai Education System, the team of Chu Van An High School for the Gifted, Lang Son city excellently passed the second round to enter the final round of the competition which will be held in Hanoi in early October 2020.

The Speak To Lead English Speaking Contest took place from July 1 to October 7, 2020 with 3 rounds. In particular, the school-level selection round and the team ranking round are held online.

In round 2 (team ranking), there are 19 teams participating in the competition. In particular, the team of Chu Van An High School for the Gifted, Lang Son is arranged in the same group with the teams of Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang province. With the theme “Vietnam – US Cultural Exchange”, 3 teams participated in eloquence, Q&A session with the judges.

Thanks to their confidence, deep understanding of the cultures of the two countries, and rhetorical thinking and the ability to speak English fluently, the team of Chu Van An High School for the Gifted, Lang Son passed the team of Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang province won the ticket to enter the final round of the competition (including 5 teams).

The Speak To Lead English Speaking Contest was held to mark the milestone of the 25^th anniversary of Vietnam – US diplomatic ties.
