The leader of the Provincial People’s Committee inspected the organization of the high school graduation exam in Dinh Lap district

(LSO) – On the afternoon of September 1, the delegation of the Provincial People’s Committee led by Mr. Nguyen Long Hai, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for the 2020 high school graduation exam, phase 2 checked the organization of the exam at the site of Dinh Lap High School, Dinh Lap District.

Dinh Lap High School has 15 exam rooms, 63 staff and teachers serving the exam with 280 candidates from the units of Dinh Lap High School, Dinh Lap Center for Vocational – Continuing Education (Dinh Lap) and Tu Doan High School (Loc Binh).

At the inspection session, the delegation checked the work of ensuring security and order; the preparation of examination rooms, the arrangement of personnel for the exam, medical conditions, sterilization and prevention of Covid-19 epidemic at the site.

After the inspection, the site has coordinated with the functional forces and the local government to fully allocate forces and prepare plans to ensure security and safety for the exam.

At the same time, the site and the exam council have fully arranged the facilities, equipment for the exam, fully prepared masks, drinking water, hand sanitizer liqid and body temperature checker; arranged enough accommodation and rest for the exam officers and teachers and candidates in extremely difficult circumstances … to ensure that the exam would take place safely, seriously and in accordance with the regulations.

At the inspection, the team members pointed out some shortcomings and limitations and suggested the school and functional forces on duty at the site to urgently overcome.

Concluding the inspection, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee requested that Examination Council, exam site and officials, teachers, forces participating and serving in the examination continue to work with serous and strict awareness, ensuring security and safety for the exam, strictly implement epidemic prevention and hygiene; regularly checking, urging and getting informed with the situation through each exam session to promptly handle arising problems. For the problems that the team members pointed out, the exam site needed to review, correct and complete.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee suggested that the exam site should check the connection with the candidates through the staff, teachers of the schools, head teachers, informing on loudspeakers, ensuring that 280 candidates come to register for the exam and do the exam procedures.

At the same time, it is necessary to continue to review facilities and fully implement the cleaning work after each exam. The district ensures a place for teachers, exam staff, and students to take the exam. During exam days, it should ensure to maintain the reports of each exam session.

All levels and branches should assign appropriate staff according to work requirements, avoid gathering people in large groups to ensure epidemic prevention and control.
