Lang Son donates 1,500 gifts to Hanoi city for COVID-19 prevention and control

– On September 10, at Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Hanoi city, the provincial delegation led by Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for COVID-19 prevention and control donated gift to Hanoi city in COVID-19 prevention and control.

Attending the delegation was also Mr. Nong Luong Chan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Member of the Provincial Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

Receiving and working with the delegation were Mrs. Nguyen Lan Huong, Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi city; the leaders of Hanoi City People’s Committee.

Accordingly, the Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control of Lang Son province donated 5 tons of winter melon and 1,500 gifts for Hanoi city to prevent and control the COVID-19 pandemic; each gift included necessities such as 1 bag of rice (5 kg), 2 boxes of peanut and 3 bags of dried noodle (6 bundles each). The total value of support is 500 million VND.

Speaking at the donation, the Standing Vice Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People’s Committee shared with the difficulties of Hanoi city in the “war” with the COVID-19 pandemic and wished that through this support, it would help Hanoi city provide more resources to help people in difficulty, quickly locate and control  the pandemic. Thereby, the capital – the heart of the country could continue to maintain socio-economic development activities, join hands with localities to control the COVID-19 pandemic, continue to develop the country…

The leader of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi city thanked the Party, government and people of Lang Son province for their care and sharing in the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic. At the same time, she affirmed that the Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi city would timely send these gifts to workers who are in difficulty and people in need of assistance in disease prevention and control, ensuring transparency and effectiveness.
