Preparatory session for the 14th Youth Union Congress of Lang Son province, term 2022 – 2027

On the morning of October 13, at the Provincial Convention Center, a preparatory session was held for the 14th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Lang Son province, term 2022 – 2027. Attending the session were the leader of Central Youth Union, leaders of a number of departments and sectors of the province and 260 delegates representing over 183,000 youth union members and young people in the whole province.
Overview of the first session
At the first session, the congress elected the Presidium, the Secretariat, the Committee for verification of the delegate status; approved the agenda and rules of the congress; reported on the results of verification of delegate status; approved the proposal for comments on the Political Report of the Executive Committee of the 13th Provincial Youth Union, term 2017-2022. The congress held 3 forums to discuss about improving the quality of propaganda and education of the Youth Union and the management of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization, taking care of, protecting and educating teenagers and children; solutions to develop officials of the Youth Union who can meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation; promoting the role of Youth Union in supporting young people to start-up, to start a business and perform digital transformation.
Delegates vote to elect the Presidium of the Congress
In the second session held in the afternoon of the same day, the Congress approved the review report of the 13th Executive Committee of the Provincial Youth Union, term 2017-2022, summary report of opinions discussed at forums; discussed and commented on the draft political report of the 13th Executive Committee of Provincial Youth Union, term 2017 – 2022, draft political report of the 12th National Youth Union Congress and report on amendments to the Charter of the Youth Union for the term 2022 – 2027.
At the same time, the Congress elected 30 members of the 14th Executive Committee of the Provincial Youth Union, term 2022 – 2027.
With the action slogan “Aspiration – Solidarity – Pioneering – Creation – Development”, the 14th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Lang Son province is an important political event of the young of the province, marking a new development step of the youth union and teenager and children movement. The Congress are to evaluate the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th Lang Son Provincial Youth Union Congress, term 2017 – 2022; to determine the goals and directions of the youth union and teenager and children movement for the term 2022 – 2027, to build a strong and comprehensive union organization, to improve the quality of propaganda, education and revolutionary action movements; to unite, pioneer, volunteer and promote creativity of the youth, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 – 2025, building a rapidly and sustainably developed Lang Son.
