The 14^th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Lang Son province, term 2022 – 2027 took place on 13 and 14 October. In addition to introducing about the congress through a system of posters and slogans in densely populated areas, the youth unions of districts, city and other affiliated ones have actively developed many news and articles on activities and movements, effective models an typical youth example on the mass media and social networking sites such as facebook, zalo.

Also from September 2022, the youth of the whole province has responded to the congress by wearing youth union uniforms on every Thursday. Also responding to the contest introducing about the congress on the Tik tok, the youth unions have posted hundreds of videos about activities for the community.

Additionally, the identify program of the 14th Provincial Youth Union Congress, including logos, posters, and frames for avatars on social networks, was also used and shared enthusiastically by young people in the province.

Ms. Dinh Thi Anh Thu, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union said: “Promoting the application of digital technology in the organization of the congress, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union has built a display space using VR technology in the location of congress; documents for the congress are provided via QR code scanning; the attendance check of delegates is also done through the facial recognition system.”

Towards the big day of the youth of Lang Son, the young in the province also carry out practical works. Particularly, Cao Loc District Youth Union; officers and soldiers of Ba Son Border Station, militiamen of Cao Lau, Xuat Le, Mau Son communes, officers and soldiers, young volunteers of 196 Agriculture and Forestry Plantation unit are building roads to border landmarks No.1185, 1184, 1179 with a total length of more than 850 m. In Bac Son district, An Uy school, Nhat Hoa commune, funded by youth unions at all levels, has been mostly completed…

Mr. Phuong Van Bich, Deputy Secretary of Lang Son City Youth Union said: Practically responding the big day of the young, in September, the City Youth Union organized a photo contest named “Beauty of youth union members”, recording the beautiful images of youth union activities and volunteering activities. The organizers awarded first, second and third prizes to the authors with excellent photos participating in the contest. The contest created encouragement to youth union members and young people to do youth union activities and movements towards the congress.”

The preparation for the Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union has been carried out since March 2022, the Executive Committee of the Provincial Youth Union has established the Organizing Committee and sub-committees to serve the congress.

Up to now, the preparation for, documents, decorations and logistics has been carefully carried out in accordance with the regulations and instructions of the Secretariat of the Central Youth Union. The plans for election candidates are democratic, strict in term of procedure and quantity, in which the standards of political bravery, morality, capacity and efficiency to complete tasks are attached.

The 14^th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Lang Son province, term 2022 – 2027 is an important political event of the youth in the province, marking a new development step in promoting the role, potential and creativity, pioneering spirit and contribution of the local young generation in the period of industrialization, modernization and international integration.
