On the afternoon of June 28, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee in collaboration with the Provincial Red Cross Society held a signing ceremony for a joint program to organize humanitarian, charity and social security activities for the period of 2023 – 2027

Attending the ceremony, there were Mr. Nong Luong Chan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; leader of the Provincial Red Cross Society and officials and experts from the two units.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee emphasized that, in recent years, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and the Provincial Red Cross Society have actively coordinated with socio-political sectors and organizations, mass organizations to effectively implement the guiding documents of the Central and the province on humanitarian, charity and social security work, integrated with the political and professional tasks of each unit. Thereby, the two units contributed practical help for people in difficult situations to rise up in life.

He also expressed his hope that, after the signing ceremony, the two units will urgently develop specific plans and activities to have many charity, humanitarian and social security activities. Thereby, it will bring practical effects to the disadvantaged people to have a better life, a more compassionate society and actively contribute to the great unity of the whole nation.

At the signing ceremony, leaders and officials of the two units focused on discussing the following contents: coordination in propaganda and mobilization; Coordinate the implementation of movements, campaigns, humanitarian programs…

Accordingly, leaders of the two units have agreed to sign a program to coordinate in organizing humanitarian, charity and social security activities for the period of 2023 – 2027 with the following contents: propagating humanitarian values, the spirit of solidarity, mutual love, the great unity tradition of the nation; organizing the mobilization, receipt and distribution of voluntary contributions to overcome difficulties caused by natural disasters, pandemics, serious incidents and organize other humanitarian activities; coordinating and organizing the effective implementation of humanitarian movements, campaigns and programs launched by the two units. At the same time, the two sides coordinate in organizing the inspection, supervision and social criticism on policies and laws on humanitarian activities, charity activities, social security and organizing activities to praise, honor and reward the organizations and individuals inside and outside the province with outstanding achievements in humanitarian, charity and social security work.
