Families break piggy banks to get money for charity

At the event, representatives of nearly 1,000 families in the province brought piggy banks that were “raised” in 2023 to Thanh Pagoda, broke them and donated all the savings to the charity fund of the pagoda. It is known that in 2023, the Administration Council of Provincial Buddhist Sangha has supported the construction of 10 great solidarity houses, 4 civil bridges, roads to border markers… with a total amount of 3.1 billion VND, 502 million VND of which was from the piggy banks of families.
