More than 7,000 people enter and exit through Huu Nghi International Border Gate

After more than 3 years of being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, on March 15, at Huu Nghi International Border Gate, China opened and activated cross-border tourism between Vietnam and China. Since China opened the door, on average, there have been about 1,000 people entering and exiting everyday through Huu Nghi International Border Gate for tourism, employment opportunities and visiting relatives.

According to the statistics of the functional agencies, in 7 days (from March 15 to March 21), the functional forces at Huu Nghi International Border Gate completed entry and exit procedures for 7,260 people with passport and travel permit (in particularly, 3,413 people entered the country and 3,847 people exited).

According to functional forces at Huu Nghi International Border Gate, although China has reopened, which creates favorable conditions for people to cross the border, visitors entering China have to strictly comply with China’s regulations on COVID-19 prevention and control.
