Lang Son participates in the 14th “Through Viet Bac heritage regions” tourism program and the Tuyen Quang city festival in 2023

In 8 days (from September 20 to 27, 2023), the delegation of the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism participated in the 14th “Through Viet Bac heritage regions” tourism program and the Tuyen Quang City Festival 2023 held in Tuyen Quang city, Tuyen Quang province.

In the program, Lang Son province participates in Tuyen Quang Provincial Trade and Tourism Fair in 2023; “Displaying and introducing the quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine” program and Hanoi Beer Festival; Festival of Community Tourism Cultural Villages in 6 Viet Bac provinces.

Accordingly, participating in the Trade and Tourism Fair of Tuyen Quang province in 2023, the delegation of Lang Son province displayed DVDs about “Lang Son’s Cuisine”, “S-Vietnam: the liquor of Mau Son”, “Lang Son your destination”, “The wonders of Mau Son”,… and introduced publications and products promoting Lang Son tourism, souvenirs including crystal products, Peach baby, tourism bags, bronze plates, postcards… At the same time, it provided visitors with information about tourist attractions and landscapes, information about Lang Son tourism programs, answered all questions of tourists about Lang Son tourism.

At the same time, the delegation participated in “Displaying and introducing the quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine” and the Hanoi Beer Festival in 2023 through a culinary display booth; introduced products that meet OCOP standards (One Commune One Product Program) and provincial products and specialties including Trang Dinh black jelly, wild honey, dried Clausena indica Daizell fruit, specialty cakes, Mau Son liquor… At the same time, it demonstrated the process of roasting duck, grilling sausage and making wormwood cakes at the booth…

Regarding the Festival of Community Cultural and Tourism Villages in 6 Viet Bac provinces, members from Quynh Son Community Cultural and Tourism Village (Bac Quynh commune, Bac Son district) participated in 3 competitions of art performance, costume show and introduction about tourist destinations. As a result, Lang Son won first prize in generak.

The “Through Viet Bac heritage regions” tourism program initiated by 6 provinces of Bac Kan, Cao Bang, Ha Giang, Lang Son, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, has now gone through 14 years of organization and contributed to tourism development. This is an annual event aimed at renewing the regional tourism products, strengthening inter-regional tourism promotion and promoting the effective exploitation of local tourism potentials.
