Chi Lang organized the Ethnic Culture Festival at Ky Lua Walking Street

(LSO) – On the evening of 12 December, at Ky Lua Walking Street, Lang Son city, the People’s Committee of Chi Lang district coordinated with the People’s Committee of Lang Son city to organize the Ethnic Culture Festival of Chi Lang District.

Attending the festival were Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee and leaders of departments, sectors, unions and the people.

At the festival, the people and visitors enjoyed a cultural and artistic space bearing bold national cultural identity of Chi Lang district’s people such as lion dance, then singing, Xieng Tang dance, scenes of folk games.

The people and visitors participating in the program also learned about the life and people of Chi Lang district through more than 20 art photos introducing the landscapes, cultural life of the district people on display at Ky Lua Walking Street.

In addition, many booths displaying and selling typical local products such as Van Linh dried noodle, Bo Khai vegetable, special pork dish named “Khau Nhuc”, Huu Kien white horse paste etc attracting many tourists to visit and experience.

Chi Lang District was the first unit participating in the program of ethnic cultural festivals at Ky Lua Walking Street space.

In the coming time, the People’s Committee of Lang Son city will continue to coordinate and create conditions for the districts in the province to build and organize programs to introduce cultural and artistic characteristics of each locality. Thereby, it can both preserve and promote the national identity in the province and creating a highlight for Ky Lua Walking Street, attracting many tourists in the coming time.
