More than 200 students participated in Vietnam Book Day

– On April 20, the Department of Information and Communication cooperated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Lang Son Provincial Youth Union to organize the 8th Lang Son Vietnam Book Day, 2021.
Attending the book day were more than 200 students from high schools and continuing education centers; vocational education and continuing education centers in Lang Son city and Cao Loc district.

Since 2014, the Prime Minister decided to consider April 21 every year as Vietnam Book Day. After 8 years of implementation, Vietnam Book Day has become a cultural event spreading in the community, bringing practical values.
The 8th Vietnam Book Day of Lang Son province in 2021 is organized with a scale of 16 booths displaying books about the Party, Uncle Ho, knowledge, social skills, literature, art …
On the book day, the Department of Information and Communication presented the Provincial Border Guard Command a number of books, newspapers and documents for the border posts. On this occasion, the students also participated in book learning games.
The book day is organized to build a healthy, practical and useful cultural space for many readers; affirms the role and importance of the book; honors the value of books and builds a culture of reading in the community.
