Cao Loc launches a peak emulation campaign to support new-style rural area building

On October 6, Cao Loc District People’s Committee organized a program to launch a peak emulation campaign to support new rural building in 2022.

Attending the launching ceremony were Mr. Nong Luong Chan, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and leaders of a number of departments, sectors, leaders of Cao Loc district, representatives of agencies and organizations, units, businesses and cooperatives in the locality.

Mr. Nong Luong Chan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee supported the building of a new-style rural area in Cao Loc district.

Over the past time, the implementation of the new-style rural building program in Cao Loc district has achieved positive results. Rural appearance is constantly being renewed, the material and spiritual life of rural people has been gradually improved.

By the end of 2021, the whole district has 8 communes that meet the standards of new-style rural areas. According to the national set of criteria for communes to meet the standards of new-style rural area in the period of 2021 – 2025, so far, each commune in the district has reached 10.5 criteria on average. In 2022, the district, the district will strive to bring Thuy Hung commune to the standards of new-style rural commune and Gia Cat commune to strive to achieve the standards of advanced  new-style rural commune. Up to now, Thuy Hung commune has achieved 8/19 criteria of new-style rural commune; Gia Cat commune achieved 5/19 criteria of advanced new-style rural commune.

At the launching ceremony, the leader of Cao Loc District People’s Committee called on all cadres, civil servants, public employees and employees of agencies, units and armed forces and people in the district, collectives, individuals, businesses, benefactors inside and outside the district actively participated in supporting, joining hands and contributing to the 2022 New-style rural area building program  in the district achieved the highest results.

Leaders of Cao Loc District People’s Committee received funding to support the building of new rural areas from agencies, units, organizations and individuals in the area.

Also at the launching ceremony, agencies, units, organizations and individuals contributed 317.5 million VND to build new-style rural area in Cao Loc district in 2022.

According to the program, Cao Loc district continues to receive support from agencies, units, businesses, benefactors and individuals via account 3761.0.1015938.1099, opened at the State Treasury of Cao Loc district or contributed directly at the District Division of Agriculture and Rural Development.
