Vietnam – China International Trade Fair 2022: Participants will enjoy many preferential mechanisms

Only a few more days, the Vietnam – China International Trade Fair (Lang Son  2022) with the theme “Friendship – Cooperation – Association – Development” will officially open on November 2, 2022 at Lang Son Trade Fair Center. Currently, relevant departments and sectors of Lang Son province are completing the final stages to successfully organize the fair.

Construction of pre-engineered building and installation of booths for the fair has been basically completed

Mr. Tran Anh Thuan, Director of the Center for Industry and Trade Promotion, Department of Industry and Trade said: The first important part is the promotion of trade, up to this point, the task has been completed. Accordingly, there have been nearly 100 businesses in the province, outside the province and China registered to participate in displaying goods at the fair. In which, 63 other local businesses in the country, 24 businesses in the province, 11 Chinese businesses.

The Vietnam – China International Trade Fair (Lang Son 2022) is organized by the Provincial People’s Committee in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, with the theme “Friendship – Cooperation – Association – Development”. This is an export-oriented trade promotion activity, within the framework of the National Trade Promotion Program and the Lang Son Provincial Trade Promotion Program in 2022. Therefore, in order to attract businesses to exhibit products at the fair, Lang Son province has many “preferential” mechanisms. Specifically, for businesses operating in production and business in the province, when participating in the fair, they will receive 100% of the booth rental fee free of charge; businesses in other localities in the country participating in the fair will receive a 50% reduction in booth rental prices; especially for international businesses (mainly Chinese businesses), not only will they get free booth rental fees, but also support for accommodation and maximum convenience in the process of temporarily importing and re-exporting goods to participate in this fair. It is with these “preferential” mechanisms that the number of registered booths has skyrocketed. . “It was originally planned that the scale of the fair would be 220 booths, but now the number of booths registered by businesses has increased to 260 booths…” – Director of the Center for Industry Promotion and Trade Promotion said.

Not only the large number of participating units, but the goods participating in this fair are also very rich in types and models. The highlight is that to participate in the fair, localities and businesses all choose industrial and agricultural products, processed food products, OCOP products , key, high quality products and ensure food safety and hygiene.

In addition to trade promotion, up to now, the installation of booths and pre-engineered building has also been basically completed. Mr. Nguyen Hong Hai, Director of FPV Fair and Events Joint Stock Company (the unit that coordinates the installation and event organization) said: the fair now has basically completed the installation of the organizer buildings and booths. There are still some parts such as decoration of banners, flags, celebrations… the unit is urgently completing the final stages to be ready for the opening of the fair.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Dai, Director of Lang Son Department of Industry and Trade – Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Fair said: In order to prepare carefully for the Vietnam – China International Trade Fair (Lang Son 2022), up to now, in addition to developing a detailed plan for the opening ceremony, the Fair Organizing Committee has directed the relevant sub-committees to hang 100 banners promoting the fair in the wards and communes in the city and the districts of the province; facilities to serve the activities of the fair and accommodation, to welcome nearly 100 delegates from the central government and provinces, cities and businesses have also been completed; activities to support customs clearance of goods through border gates for Chinese businesses to participate in the fair have also been implemented; the work of ensuring security and order, traffic safety, food safety and hygiene, quality inspection of goods displayed at the fair have all been carefully prepared by the relevant units of the province. Along with that, the preparations for the opening and closing ceremony, the seminar programs, the signing ceremony of commercial contracts… have been basically completed.

The Vietnam – China International Trade Fair is held alternately between Lang Son (Vietnam) and Guangxi (China). This is an opportunity to create conditions for businesses of Vietnam and China to meet, exchange experiences, promote images, exploit the market, seek investment cooperation opportunities … At the same time, through this international trade fair, it has actively contributed to promoting import and export activities between the two sides.

In addition to promoting trade, the time of the Vietnam – China International Trade Fair (Lang Son in 2022) is also very special. – November 2022, the month of the event to celebrate the 191th anniversary of the establishment of Lang Son province; the 113th birthday of Mr. Hoang Van Thu. The fair is also an opportunity to promote the image of the land and the people of Lang Son, thereby promoting tourism promotion activities of Lang Son province.
