The inauguration of the roads to the landmarks in Bac Xa commune

On the 64th anniversary of the traditional day of the Border Guard force (March 3, 1959 – March 3, 2023) and the 34th anniversary of the Whole People’s Border Guard Day (March 3, 1989 – March 3, 2023), on the afternoon of March 2, the emulation group of provincial Party agencies including the Office, the Organization Commission, the Information Dissemination and Education Commission, the Commission for Mass Mobilization, the Commission for Internal Affairs, the Inspection Committee, the Party Committee Bloc of Provincial-level Agencies, Hoang Van Thu Political School, Lang Son Newspaper in collaboration with Bac Xa Border Guard Station, Bac Xa Commune People’s Committee held a ceremony to inaugurate the roads to landmarks 1295 and 1296/6 in Bac Xa commune, Dinh Lap district.

Attending the inauguration ceremony were the Members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee including Head of the Information Dissemination and Education Commission of the Provincial Party Committee Phung Quang Hoi; Head of the Commission for Mass Mobilization of Provincial Party Committee Giap Thi Bac; Head of the Organization Commission of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Quoc Khanh; leaders of agencies and units in the emulation group; leaders of Dinh Lap district and Cua Dong Development Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company.

The construction of the roads to landmarks 1295 and 1296/6 was started from February 16, 2023 to February 28, 2023 with a total length of 240m. Two completed projects have a total value of 225 million VND. The agencies, units and businesses financially supported the construction; officials, soldiers and people in the area directly built them. Particularly, the emulation group of provincial Party agencies and Cua Dong Development Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company donated 100 million VND; the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and Dong Banh Cement Joint Stock Company donated 25 million VND; Bac Xa Border Guard Station donated 44 million VND; officials, soldiers and people of Bac Xa commune contributed 285 working days, equivalent to about 56 million VND.

In 2023, under the direction of the Provincial Border Guard Command, Bac Xa Border Guard Station has targeted to build from 7 to 10 roads to landmarks serving border protection with a total length of about 1,500m. Up to now, the unit has completed concreting 21/40 roads to the landmarks in the area.
