Opening exhibition on the topic “Lang Son – 190 years of establishment and development”

– On the occasion of the 190th founding anniversary of Lang Son province, this morning (October 30), at the Provincial Museum, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism solemnly held the opening of the exhibition on the topic “Lang Son – 190 years of establishment and development”.

Delegates cut the ribbon to open the exhibition

The exhibition introduced more than 100 document photos, scientific documents and artifacts about Lang Son from the feudal period to the present and the outstanding achievements of the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Lang Son province during the innovation process.

The exhibition content was divided into 4 parts, including Lang Son – the land and the people; Lang Son – The period of fighting for national independence and national defense; Lang Son – The period of innovation, integration and development; Map of administrative units of Lang Son province in Dong Khanh period in 1888 and woodblocks.

In particular, this exhibition has introduced valuable documents in terms of research on the history of formation and development of Lang Son province for the first time to the public, such as stamped woodblock from Nguyen Dynasty woodblock, woodblocks of the official Dai Nam Thuc Luc II book recording the fact that King Minh Menh ordered Lang Son province to be established in 1831; The copy of the golden seal of Sac Menh chi bao (in the 8th year of Minh Menh – 1827, which is a national treasure)…

Through the exhibition, it contributed to the propagation and education of national history traditions, fostering and promoting the spirit of patriotism, revolutionary heroism, self-reliance; consolidating and fostering people’s trust in the Party and State.

At the same time, it also created an atmosphere of joy and excitement, encouraging the entire Party and people to promote solidarity, continue to promote the patriotic emulation movement, contributing to the successful implementation of tasks and goals of socio-economic development in 2021 that the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the 17th Lang Son Provincial Party Congress have set out.
