The Workshop to select the templates of the collective trademark for Lang Son peach blossoms

(LSO) – On the morning of October 27, the Provincial Gardening Association coordinated with Department of Science and Technology to organize the workshop to select collective trademark templates for “Building and developing the collective trademark for Lang Son peach blossoms” project under the Project of preserving, developing the value of peach trees and organizing Xu Lang Peach Blossom Festival.

Peach blossom is the symbol of Lang Son province. Through the building of a collective trademark, Lang Son peach blossoms will be protected by law. When being advertised and consumed in the market, products will be affixed with stamps, labels, clearly indicating the origin, and become more popular.

The delegates discussed at the workshop

At the workshop, the organizers presented seven options of Lang Son peach blossom logo templates designed mainly based on the basic characteristics of typical peach blossoms in Lang Son’s forests and mountains (bell-shaped peach blossoms, light pink peach blossoms) with features of five large petals that are clearly shown, impressive and detailed. The image of Mau Son mountain covered with clouds all year round is also cleverly integrated, creating a balanced layout for the overall logo.

Basically, the templates meet the criteria of a collective trademark in terms of layout, color, and content. However, some templates need to care about images, typography.

Through discussions, the  workshop organizers received and acknowledged the delegates’ comments. Accordingly, logo templates will add the content of description; plan to use the product and so on. At the same time, logo templates 1, 3, 7 were chosen to consider selecting, completing and submitting to the Provincial People’s Committee for approval. Then, the most complete logo template will be selected to successfully build the collective trademark for Lang Son peach blossoms.
