The leader of the Provincial People’s Committee inspected key projects in Lang Son city

– On March 2, Mr. Luong Trong Quynh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee chaired the actual inspection over the implementation of Nam Nguyen Dinh Chieu residential and resettlement area project in Lang Son city in the form of build- transfer (BT); the project of external roads and technical infrastructure of the resettlement area under the project of the headquarters of the Provincial Police.

According to the report of the People’s Committee of Lang Son City, the Nam Nguyen Dinh Chieu residential and resettlement area project has an area of land recovery with ​​more than 20 hectares, the City People’s Committee has cleared 4.6 hectares with 54/180 households handing over the site. The total cost of more than 41.2 billion VND has been paid for 61 households and resettlement arrangement on the map is 69 plots of land for 50 households.

The leader of the City People’s Committee reported to the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee on the situation of resettlement arrangement for households in the project of Nam Nguyen Dinh Chieu residential and resettlement area.

Currently, the project is behind schedule for site clearance due to the voluntary division of land by households and difficulties in relocating the temple in block 9 Khon Lai. The City People’s Committee is focusing on removing difficulties and proposing solutions to relocate the temple to promote project site clearance.

Regarding the project of external roads and technical infrastructure of the resettlement area under the project of the Provincial Police headquarters project invested by the People’s Committee of Lang Son City, the project has a total investment of 32.2 billion VND, land use area of more than 2.69 ha with 52 affected households. Up to now, 40 households have received compensation and handed over the site with an area of ​​1.64 ha.

At the meeting, the representatives of the investors, the projects construction units proposed the Provincial People’s Committee to direct the City People’s Committee to speed up the site clearance; soon approve the plan to relocate the temple in block 9 Khon Lai and the external road to connect traffic to the project of the Provincial Police headquarters. Representatives of departments and agencies proposed investors to speed up the leveling of the cleared site for the project of Nam Nguyen Dinh Chieu residential and resettlement area.

Concluding the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee suggested that the City People’s Committee gather human resources to speed up site clearance for the Nam Nguyen Dinh Chieu residential and resettlement area project, which is expected to be completed in June 2022. As for the relocation of the temple, he agreed with the relocation plan proposed by the City People’s Committee and assigned the City People’s Committee to coordinate with relevant departments and agencies to review the planning of the green park land along the bank of Ky Cung river to build a new temple for Khon Lai residential area in accordance with the project and the landscape of the area.

For the project of the external roads and resettlement area under the project of the Provincial Police headquarters, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee requested the city speed up site clearance and urge contractors to focus on constructing roads, strive to complete the external roads in September 2022.
