Scientific seminar about the life and revolutionary career of comrade Luong Van Tri

(LSO) – On August 16, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics coordinated with Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, Central Propaganda and Training Commission to organize an online scientific seminar “Comrade Luong Van Tri – A faithful Communist soldier, the excellent citizen of Lang Son homeland ”.

Chairing the seminar at the Hanoi site were Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Director of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council; Mr. Le Manh Hung, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Training Commission; Mr. Le Van Loi, Deputy Director of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.

Chairing the seminar at the site of Lang Son province were Mrs. Lam Thi Phuong Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Mr. Nong Van Tham, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Propaganda and Training Commission.

Attending the seminar at Van Quan site were the Standing members of the District Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee; comrade Luong Van Tri’s family representatives.

Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee,Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council presented the topic “Comrade Luong Van Tri with the revolutionary movement of Lang Son province ”

Delivering the greeting speech, Mrs. Lam Thi Phuong Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee affirmed: “ The revolutionary career of comrade Luong Van Tri attached to the first suffering and sacrificing stage to establish the Party and fight for independence and national liberation. The scientific seminar is one of the practical activities to celebrate the 110^th birthday of comrade Luong Van Tri. Scientists have researched diligently, delegates have made speeches and collections of valuable documents about comrade Luong Van Tri. These are important historical data and documents to consolidate the submission to the Politburo, the Party Central Secretariat for the consideration and recognition of adding comrade Luong Van Tri to the list of typical senior leaders of the Party and Vietnamese revolution.”

The seminar received 32 reports and speeches from professors, doctors, researchers, former leaders, leaders of provinces, Propaganda and Training Commission, leaders of branches and unions.

At the seminar, delegates listened to 7 comments. The speeches all affirmed the role of comrade Luong Van Tri in the revolutionary carreer of the Party and the nation; the influence of the hometown and family tradition on the patriotic and revolutionary ideology of comrade Luong Van Tri.

Concluding of the seminar, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Director of Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics suggested: “After the seminar, the organizers would accurately recompile documents and discussion reports to include in the seminar record. At the same time, the Institute of Ho Chi Minh and the leaders of the Party is requested to coordinate with Lang Son province, General Political Department, Military Region I and other provinces with revolutionary activities of comrade Luong Van Tri to fully and comprehensive ly study about the career of comrade Luong Van Tri; Lang Son province strengthens propaganda activities about comrade Luong Van Tri. Thereby in order to consolidate more documents to submit to the Politburo, the Party Central Secretariat for consideration and recognition of adding Comrade Luong Van Tri to the list of typical senior leaders of the Party and Vietnamese revolution.
