On the morning of July 14, the Provincial Steering Committee for Prevention of Corruption and Negative Behaviors held the first meeting. Mr. Nguyen Quoc Doan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Steering Committee chaired the meeting.

During the program, the Standing Steering Committee announced the decision to establish the , the Provincial Steering Committee for Prevention of Corruption and Negative Behaviors. The members of the Steering Committee had a meeting to consider a number of documents: reports on draft documents asking for opinions of the Steering Committee; draft working regulation, decision on assignment of tasks, work program in 2022 of the Steering Committee; appendices of cases, activities…

At the meeting, the members discussed and gave specific opinions on the contents and agreed on the working regulations, assignment of tasks and work program in 2022; Cases and activities are included in the Steering Committee for monitoring and directing.

Speaking at the conclusion of the meeting, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, the Head of the Steering Committee suggested the drafting agency absorb the comments and complete the documents and reports to submit to the Head of the Steering Committee for signing and promulgation.

He proposed: Internal Affairs Commission of the Provincial Party Committee – the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee to actively review the apparatus, payroll and personnel, to ensure that staff assisting the Steering Committee have responsibility, capacity and political bravery. Specialized agencies are members of the Steering Committee to arrange staff to meet the requirements.

The members of the Steering Committee directly lead, direct and strictly implement the documents of the Party and State on corruption prevention; strengthen close and synchronous coordination in inspection, supervision and focusing on areas prone to corruption and negativity such as management and use of land, natural resources and minerals; land allocation, land lease, valuation, land use right auction; investment management, capital construction; budget management, public procurement; personnel work, justice, tax collection, import and export management; anti-smuggling and commercial fraud…

Thereby, there are recommendations, proposing a group of synchronous, drastic and effective solutions in corruption prevention, so that people with conditions and abilities cannot, dare not, do not want, do not need corruption.
