National conference to look into the resolutions adopted at the fifth plenum of the 13th Party Central Committee

On the morning of July 21, the Politburo and the Secretariat held a National Conference to look into the resolutions adopted at the fifth plenum of the 13th Party Central Committee. The conference is held in person and in online formats across the country.

Attending the conference at the Central headquarters were President Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, and Permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Vo Van Thuong.

Provincial Leaders and former leaders attended the conference in Lang Son province          

Attending the conference in Lang Son province were Mr. Nguyen Quoc Doan, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr.Hoang Van Nghiem, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Ho Tien Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Mrs. Doan Thi Hau, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee; former leaders of the province through the periods; leaders of departments, commissions and sectors of the province. The conference is connected to 226 connection sites with more than 28,700 participants.

The conference took place from July 21 to July 22. Delegates will learn and study about 4 topics such as continuing to renovate and perfect institutions and policies, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of land management and use, creating a driving force for the country to become a high-income developed country; agriculture, farmers, rural areas to 2030, vision to 2045; continue to innovate, develop and improve the collective economic efficiency in the new period; strengthen the consolidation and construction of the party’s grassroots organization and improve the quality of party members in the new period.

In the morning of July 21, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh directly conveyed the topic “Continuing to renovate and perfect institutions and policies, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of land management and use, creating a driving force for the country to become a high-income developed country”.

In which, the Prime Minister stated that the general goal is to perfect institutions and policies on land management and use in a synchronous manner and in line with the institution of developing a socialist-oriented market economy; land resources are managed, exploited and used in the most economical, sustainable and efficient manner; ensuring national defense and security; environmental protection, adaptation to climate change; creating a driving force for our country to become a high-income developed country…

After that, Mr. Tran Tuan Anh, Head of the Central Economic Commission, delivered the topic “Agriculture, farmers and rural areas to 2030, with a vision to 2045”.

Delegates will study 2 topics “Continuing innovating, developing and improving collective economic efficiency in the new period” and ” Strengthening the consolidation and construction of the party’s grassroots organization and improve the quality of party members in the new period” on the afternoon of July 21 and the morning of July 22.

The conference was organized to research, study and implement the contents of the document of the fifth plenum of the 13th Party Central Committee to Party committees at all levels, party organizations, cadres and party members. On that basis, Party committees at all levels, ministries, departments, sectors and localities continue to thoroughly understand and propagate widely to all cadres, party members and the people. From here, they will develop an action plan and program to implement the resolutions and decisions of the fifth plenum of the 13^th Party Central Committee, ensuring practicality and effectiveness, contributing to bringing the Conference Resolution into practice, successfully accomplishing the set goals.
