The Provincial National Assembly delegation meets voters in Huu Lung district

On the morning of November 24, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation including Mr.Hoang Van Nghiem, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Member of the Economic Committee of the National Assembly, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Pham Trong Nghia, member of the National Assembly’s Social Committee;  Mr. Luu Ba Mac, Member of the Science, Technology and Environment Committee of the National Assembly, Head of the Department of Technology and Innovation Management, Department of Science and Technology met with voters after the 4th session, of the 15th National Assembly in cluster of 4 communes: Van Nham, Dong Tien, Thanh Son and Minh Tien in Huu Lung district.

Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Member of the Economic Committee of the National Assembly, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation spoke at the meeting with voters.

After 21 days of active, urgent, serious work, with the spirit of democracy, science and high responsibility, the 4th session of the 15th National Assembly completed the proposed program. Specifically, the meeting approved 6 laws, 13 resolutions; gave opinions on the reception and revision of 1 law project, gave opinions for the first time on 7 other law projects; gave opinions on the thematic supreme supervision report “The implementation of policies and laws on thrift practice and waste prevention in the 2016-2021 period”; conducted questioning and answering questions for the Inspector General of the Government and 3 Ministers of the Ministries: Home Affairs; Construction; Information and Communication; considered and decided on personnel, socio-economic and state budget issues; considered reports on voters’ petitions and judicial work; crime prevention and combat and law violations; judgment enforcement; corruption prevention work and settlement of voters’ petitions; some other important works…

Overview of the meeting with voters

Regarding the activities of the provincial National Assembly Delegation, the provincial National Assembly deputies have shown a high sense of responsibility before voters and the People, fully participating in meetings and activities on the sidelines of the session. The delegation participated in a total of 31 comments; sent 3 comments in writing to the drafting agency; submited a written inquiry to the Minister of Home Affairs.

After listening to the National Assembly deputies announce the results of the 4th session, the 15th National Assembly, the voters of the communes proposed a number of issues such as reducing the age of monthly social allowance for beneficiaries; regimes and policies for part-time workers in villages and street blocks; salary regime for contract employees at preschools; shortage of teachers, lack of classrooms; financial support for participation in health insurance for the elderly living in rural areas; reducing the reciprocal ratio of capital for implementation of the national target program on building new countryside of the local budget; regulations to create favorable conditions for officials, workers, public employees and employees to pay social insurance premiums; the condition of road no.242 which is degraded…

Voters expressed their opinions at the meeting

Immediately after that, the provincial National Assembly deputies exchanged and answered a number of opinions and recommendations of voters.

Speaking at the meeting with voters, Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation thanked the delegates for their participation and comments. He also clarified a number of issues that voters were interested in, such as teacher allowance regimes; regimes and policies for the elderly and part-time staff at the grassroots; social insurance; transportation infrastructure…At the same time he affirmed that the Provincial National Assembly Delegation will fully synthesize all comments and suggestions sent to ministries, sectors, central agencies and the National Assembly for consideration and settlement.
