Leaders of Lang Son Provincial People’s Committee inspect concentrated quarantine in hotels

(LSO) – A delegation from the People’s Committee of northern border Lang Son province led by its Vice Chairman Duong Xuan Huyen on June 16 inspected COVID-19 concentrated quarantine establishments at local hotels in Lang Son city with costs paid by quarantined people themselves.

Under Decision No. 1099/QD-UBND dated June 12, 2020 of the provincial People’s Committee, three hotels in Lang Son city, namely Muong Thanh Luxury Lang Son, Cong Doan Lang Son, and Kim Son Lang Son, with more than 220 rooms have been selected to serve as concentrated quarantine establishments where the relevant costs are paid by quarantined people.

The delegation found that the hotels have well performed the quarantine work in terms of disinfection, firefighting, food safety, and training for those working at quarantined areas, among others.

Huyen asked the hotels to seriously observe regulations on COVID-19 prevention and control set by the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, the Ministry of Health and relevant departments and agencies.

The hotels should coordinate with concerned units to ensure absolute safety for foreign guests, pay more attention to food safety and firefighting, and provide all services for the guests, thus contributing to the fight against the pandemic, he said.
