The Ethnic Council of the National Assembly visited and presented gifts in Lang Son

(LSO) – On December 26, 2020, the delegation of the Ethnic Council of the National Assembly led by Mr. Nguyen Lam Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Council, visited and presented gifts to children with difficult circumstances and provided equipment to schools in extremely difficult areas in the two districts of Binh Gia and Van Lang. Joining the delegation were leaders of Phu Quoc Petroleum Operating Company, Provincial Delegation of the National Assembly, Department of Education and Training of Lang Son Province.

In Binh Gia district, the delegation presented 6 computer sets, 3 televisions and 10 warm blankets to 9 schools and presented 80 scholarships (1 million VND each) to 80 students with difficult circumstances in the ethnic minority semi-boading primary and secondary schools in the communes of Thien Thuat, Yen Lo, Tan Tien, Tan Hoa.

The leader of Phu Quoc Petroleum Operating Company awarded the equipments to schools in Van Lang district 

In Van Lang district, the delegation presented 4 sets of computers, 2 televisions and 10 warm blankets to 3 schools and presented 70 scholarships (1 million VND each) to 70 students with difficult circumstances in the ethnic minority semi-boarding primary and secondary schools in the communes of Bac La, Hoi Hoan, Nam La.

Speaking at the above places, the Vice Chairman of the Ethnic Council of National Assembly sympathized with the difficulties faced by schools and students. He wished that the party committees, local authorities, schools would together promote the solidarity, continue to well perform the work of teaching and learning; At the same time, they should timely visit and encourage students with difficult circumstances, help them to have better learning conditions.
