Hotels serving quarantine improve their service quality

(LSO) – In recent months, in addition to ensuring safety in the prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic, hotels providing quarantine service have actively improved their quality.

Muong Thanh Hotel is one of the hotels providing Covid-19 quarantine service. Their customers are mainly foreign experts. In addition to ensuring the quality of services according to 5-star standards, in the past 4 months, since serving quarantine customers, the hotel has continuously improved its service quality. Not only ensuring security, food hygiene, meals that suit the taste and habits of customers (mainly Chinese experts), staff of the hotel is increasingly professional and considerately. At the first time of serving quarantined guests, the hotel staff was under pressure and fear of infection or confused in some situations, until now, the hotel staff is proficient in the process of preventing Covid-19 outbreak and serving meals to guests, bringing satisfaction to customers.

Since providing the quarantine service (July 2020) until now, BaLa Hotel (Hop Thanh commune, Cao Loc district) has received nearly 600 foreign visitors, of which 96 are currently quarantined in the hotel. During the service, the hotel always focuses on improving its quality. Ms. Vu Thi La, owner of the BaLa hotel, said: “To ensure the health of our guests, we regularly change the menu to ensure its diversity, nutrition and make sure it suit the taste of foreign guests. Food that meets food safety requirements, is provided to each room with disposable utensils. In particular, in order to ensure the highest prevention of epidemic, we have expanded the number of service rooms from 36 rooms (at the time of registration for providing quarantine service) to 60 rooms, of which, 6 waiting rooms available to quarantine guests with signs of cough, fever, shortness of breath …”

According to statistics from the Department of Health, there are 10 hotels serving paid medical quarantine in the province (2 5-star hotels, 8 2-star hotels), mainly in Lang Son city. Currently, the hotels are serving and medically monitoring of nearly 800 foreign experts. In order to ensure the prevention and control of Covid-19 epidemic, hotels comply with a series of epidemiological requirements of the medical sector and actively improve the quality of service for quarantine people from the quality of meals to food hygiene and ensuring security…

Regarding the authorities, the Department of Health has issued documents guiding and directing the management and improvement of service quality in paid quarantine areas. At the same time, it coordinated to implement training courses for hotel staff on epidemic prevention and control and to improve the quality of customer service. In particular, the Department of Health has coordinated to check 6 times in quarantine hotels. Through examination, no cases of regulation violation on prevention of Covid-19 were found. At the same time, it is shown that the service manner of the hotel staff is also increasingly professional, bringing satisfaction to most quarantined guests during their staying. Mr. Liao Jiang Ping (Hunan Province, China) is currently under medical quarantine at BaLa Hotel, sharing: “I find the hotel very considerate, all the services are very good, the staffs are friendly. The procedures for epidemic prevention are implemented very strictly and ensured. I am very satisfied and reassured to be here.”
