On the afternoon of June 8, the delegation of the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs led by Deputy Minister and Vice Chairman of the Committee, Mr. Le Son Hai visited and gave gifts to ethnic minorities in Thong Nhat commune, Loc Binh district.

At the cultural house of Thong Nhat commune, Deputy Minister Le Son Hai sent greetings and encouragements to the ethnic minorities in the area.

The Deputy Minister affirmed that, over the years, our Party and State have always cared about the lives of ethnic minorities. Ethnicity policies are regularly implemented well, contributing to taking better care of the lives of ethnic minorities.

On behalf of leaders of the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs, Deputy Minister Mr.Le Son Hai gave 100 gifts to poor ethnic minority families, policy families, and reputable people in the commune. Each gift is worth 500 thousand VND. The Deputy Minister hopes that, in the coming time, with the spirit of self-reliance, ethnic minorities in the area will continue to make efforts and join hands with the Party committees and local authorities to overcome difficulties, develop the economy and society, building a new rural area.

During the program, the delegation surveyed the reality to grasp the situation of ethnic minority people’s life in Loc Binh district.
