Specialized meeting of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee

(LSO) – On the afternoon of August 10, Mrs. Lam Thi Phuong Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to discuss the draft documents for the 17^th Provincial Party Congress.

At the conference, the Document Editorial Group announced the results of drafting documents for the Congress.

Accordingly, following the instruction of the Provincial Party Committee on gathering opinions on the draft document submitted to the 17^th Provincial Party Congress, up to now, the Editorial Group has received 15 paper comments from ministries and central agencies; former leaders of the province, departments, branches, intellectuals, writers, artists etc.

Mrs. Lam Thi Phuong Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee spoke at the meeting.

On that basis, the Editorial Group reviewed, received and added to the report. Along with that, the Editorial Group also developed a draft summary report presented at the meeting; draft summary report serving the working program with the central level; draft review report of the Executive Committee of the  Provincial Party Committee; draft action plan of the Executive Committee of the  Provincial Party Committee .

At the conference, delegates basically agreed with the draft documents stated by the Document Editorial Group. In addition, the delegates focused on discussions and suggestions to clarify and supplement data related to  economic indicators mentioned in the political report. At the same time, it is requested that the Document Editorial Group review and re-edit sentences in each topic to ensure logic, coherence, … The delegates also commented and added some content to the draft action program.

Speaking at the conclusion of the conference, regarding the draft political report, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the Editorial Group to receive comments at the conference, on that basis, it is necessary to review the structure, writing style and to supplement data to integrate into the draft for generalization, sufficient ideas and logic. The directions and objectives need to be supplemented with the key task of developing and expanding Lang Son city in the next term, without questioning the upgrading of Dong Dang town in the period of 2020-2025.

For the draft summary report presented at the meeting, she required high generalization and data selection in the report. The draft report submitted to the central government should be the most condensed and comprehensive synthesis report. Members of the Standing Committee and leaders of departments and branches should send their comments to the Editorial Group before August 14, 2020.

Regarding the draft action plan, she proposed to assign the Provincial Party Committee’s Personnel Committee to advise and coordinate with the Editorial Group to rebuild the content related to action programs on economic development from the program number 1 to program number 4.

For the draft review report and draft resolution, she required that it needed to be brief, ensuring high synthesis and generalization.
