The symposium on removing ground clearance problems in January 2021

(LSO) – On February 4, Mr. Luong Trong Quynh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee chaired the symposium on solving problems in site clearance for projects in January 2021.

In January 2021, districts and the city continued to focus on leading and directing the implementation of site clearance work on effective projects. Through the review of Department of Natural Resources and Environment, there are three districts with arising difficulties and problems, proposing the Provincial People’s Committee to consider and handle according to its competence.

Specifically, Lang Son City People’s Committee has arising problems with some specific cases in Phu Loc IV Urban Area Project; the project of adjusting and expanding Nam Hoang Dong I Urban Area; Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street extension under the bridge 17/10 project.

Cao Loc district has arising problems in implementing Hoang Van Thu Resettlement Area Expansion Project, Dong Dang township. Loc Binh district has arising problems with the project of a workshop to select the area to be handed over to the TKV Power Corporation to implement Na Duong 2 Thermal Power Plant Project and Huu Khanh Residential Area Project.

Discussing at the meeting, representatives of districts, the city, related departments and sectors added information and clarified arising problems in each project. At the same time, they consulted the Provincial People’s Committee for permission to apply some support measures to handle problems for each specific project.

Concluding the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee noted that districts and the city made efforts to focus on speeding up the site clearance in January.

Regarding solving problems in Phu Loc IV Urban Area Project and Nam Hoang Dong Urban Area Expansion Project, he asked Lang Son City People’s Committee to coordinate with investors to review all the dossiers related to relevant households, report to the Provincial People’s Committee for consideration, direction to settle.

For handling problems with Hoang Van Thu Resettlement Area Expansion Project, Dong Dang township, he requested Cao Loc district to review all affected cases, report to the province and propose a settlement plan.

Regarding problems in the two projects in Loc Binh district, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee agreed with solutions proposed by Department of Natural Resources and Environment.

For site clearance tasks in the upcoming time, he asked districts and the city to develop specific progress plans for each project, weekly report to Department of Natural Resources and Environment on the implementation situation and problems on the ground for each project.
