Lang Son leader inspects new-style rural building in Van Quan

(LSO) – Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Ho Tien Thieu on September 11 inspected the implementation of the building of new-style rural areas in Huu Le commune, Van Quan district.

Huu Le is one of the five most disadvantaged communes selected by the province to strive for new-style rural status in 2016-2020.

As of mid-September, the commune met 12 out of the 19 criteria. In 2019, it strives to meet other criteria on transport, school, and residential housing. The remainders are expected to be completed in 2020.

The commune proposed accelerating the progress of construction works, including clean water supply facilities, and treating rural waste.

Four communes in Van Quan district have become new-style rural areas. In 2019, the district aims to have two more new-style rural communes.
