Lang Son announces OCOP product assessment, classification results

LSO – The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Lang Son province held a conference on March 13 to announce the results of assessing and classifying products under the OCOP (One Commune – One Product) programme of the province in 2019.

Attending the event were leading officials of departments, sectors and People’s Committees of districts and city, and representatives from owners of OCOP products.

Launched in 2019, the OCOP programme has gained positive results. Ten out of the 11 districts and city have assessed and classified OCOP products for 11 products and submitted them to the provincial-level assessment council.

After the assessment, nine out of the 11 products are ranked three-star and four-star at the provincial level. Of the total, two four-star products are O Long tea in Dinh Lap district and sticky rice of Bac Son district. Seven three-star products include Xu Lang forest honey of Lang Son city, Mo Heo wine in Huu Lung district, sweet potato of Loc Binh district, Thuan An corn vermicelli of Dinh Lap district, Van Linh rice noodle of Chi Lang district, Hong Nhung organic turmeric starch in Chi Lang district, “bao thai hong” rice of Trang Dinh district.
