Fatherland Front Committees at all levels need to continue to innovate the contents and forms of operation

That is the emphasis of Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of the National Assembly at the eighth conference of the 14^th Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, tenure 2019 – 2024, taking place on the afternoon of June 15.

Attending the conference were Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Mrs. Doan Thi Hau, Member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of Provincial People’s Council; Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen, Member of Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee; representatives of leaders of departments, agencies, sectors, armed forces of the province, member organizations, advisory councils of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of Fatherland Front Committees of districts and city.

Mr. Nong Luong Chan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee chaired the conference.

Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation spoke at the conference.

In the first 6 months of 2022, the program synchronously coordinated with the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province and member organizations to implemented and brought practical results. Prominent are patriotic emulation movements, campaigns launched by the Fatherland Front at all levels, which were enthusiastically participated and supported by party members,  union members, and people from all walks of life. In which, the People donated more than 55,900m² of land, contributed over 115,800 man-days to build new rural works.

The propaganda and prevention of the COVID-19 pandemic, social security work has been strongly implemented and spread far and wide, the work of social supervision and criticism, participation in the building of the Party and the building of the government is increasingly organized and of high quality. In the first 6 months of the year, Fatherland Front Committees at all levels supervised 184 meetings; organized 12 seminars on social criticism, synthesizing 91 criticisms…

At the conference, the delegates discussed to clarify the results achieved, share experiences, recommendations and propose solutions to continue to perform better the Fatherland Front work in the future.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee recognized and praised the results achieved by the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province and its member organizations in the first 6 months of 2022.

Regarding the tasks of the last 6 months of the year, he suggested that the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province and its member organizations need to continue to innovate the contents and methods of operation, focusing on the Project of the Provincial Standing Committee on continue to renovate the contents and forms of operation of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations until 2025 and the following years.

At the same time, the committees carry out the propaganda and mobilization of the people to abide by the guidelines of the Party, policies and laws of the State, support the implementation of works and projects in the locality, especially key projects of the province; take initiative in two-way communication, grasp the ideological situation and orient public opinion among the people of all strata, minimize the arising of complicated cases in the locality and grassroots; continue to expand and improve the efficiency and quality of people to people diplomacy; well promote the role of social supervision and criticism, participate in the building of the Party and government.

He noted that the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and its member organizations should continue to coordinate with the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly deputies and People’s Councils at all levels to improve the quality of voter meeting activities;promote patriotic emulation movements and campaigns in association with the promotion of studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and style, and doing well the work of commendation.

 

During the conference, Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee announced the results of the tenth session of the 17th Provincial People’s Council, the socio-economic situation, national defense and security in the first 6 months of the year, orientation and tasks for the last 6 months of 2022. The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has organized to consolidate and supplement members of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, for the 2019 – 2024 tenure.
