Presenting 20,000 medical masks to the Provincial Border Guard

(LSO) – On August 8, 2020, at the Headquarters of the Border Guard Command (BGC) of Lang Son province, Mr. Nguyen Lam Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Ethnic Council of the National Assembly, Member of the National Assembly of Lang Son province and the AMY Group Joint Stock Company as the sponsor visited and presented 20,000 medical masks to provincial border guards to serve Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control.

Receiving the delegation was Mr. Nguyen Long Hai, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Lam Thanh, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly’s Ethnic Council shared the difficulties and struggles at the frontline of the country and acknowledged the important contributions of the border guard force in prevention of Covid-19 epidemic.

Mr. Nguyen Lam Thanh, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly’s Ethnic Council presented 20,000 medical masks to the Provincial Border Guard.

He expected that the border guard force continued to perform well the dual task “both firmly defending the border sovereignty and preventing the Covid-19 epidemic”. Lang Son Party Committee and government continue to have effective solutions, join hands with the whole country to prevent, control the epidemic.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Mr. Nguyen Long Hai, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee would like to express his gratitude towards Mr. Nguyen Lam Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Ethnic Council of the National Assembly and AMY group Joint Stock Company for their attention and encouragement for Lang Son province, especially for the border guard force.

He acknowledged and appreciated the great and continuous contributions made by the border guard force at the front line to fight the epidemic, and at the same time trusted that with the drastic direction of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People’s Committee, the consensus of people and the support from the central departments and agencies, the philanthropists, Lang Son province will overcome difficulties and well perform the dual task of “fighting against epidemic and developing the economy”.
