The leaders of Provincial People’s Committee inspected at Dinh Lap and Loc Binh

– On June 1, the delegation of the Provincial People’s Committee led by Mr. Luong Trong Quynh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, inspected the the construction of Khau Ban – Con Quan – Na Lua route and a number of works belonging to the rural sanitation and clean water project in Dinh Lap and Loc Binh districts.

In Dinh Lap district, the delegation inspected the implementation of Khau Ban – Con Quan – Na Lua route. This is a traffic infrastructure under the basic infrastructure project for comprehensive development of the Northeast provinces, Lang Son sub-project sponsored by the Asian Development Bank.

The project with a total length of 19 km was started from January 2021, the site clearance work has been completed by Dinh Lap district, the contractors are opening the foundation for the construction of bridges and drainage systems, the implementation volume reached 30% of the progress.

The projects under the program to expand the scale of rural sanitation and clean water based on outputs using World Bank loans implemented in Dinh Lap and Loc Binh districts have basically been completed.

Specifically, Dinh Lap commune has invested in 3 domestic water works and toilets at Dinh Lap Commune Primary School, so far, all 3 works have been completed; Huu Khanh commune and Mau Son commune, Loc Binh district were invested to build 3 works at schools and medical stations, so far all of them have been completed and put into use.

For the concentrated domestic water project in Dong Buc commune, Loc Binh district with the total investment of 6.2 billion VND and the scale of water supply for more than 700 households (the project was invested in the period 2018-2020) has been completed and temporarily assigned to Dong Buc Commune People’s Committee to monitor and exploit from January 2021.

After the  inspection at each project and listening to the investors’ report on the progress of each project, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee acknowledged the efforts of the investors in implementing the projects.

Regarding the tasks in the coming time, for the Khau Ban – Con Quan – Na Lua route project, Dinh Lap district, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee suggested the investor focusing on urging the contractors to speed up the construction progress, with the aim of striving to complete the entire route in 2022 to promote socio-economic development of Dinh Lap district.

For completed projects under the program to expand the scale of rural sanitation and clean water based on outputs, investors and contractors should urgently complete the documents, carry out the acceptance test and put them into use.

Regarding the works under the project to expand the scale of rural sanitation and clean water based on the outputs being carried out in other districts, which are still under progress, he requested the investors to focus on reviewing the volume, to develop detailed plans for urging the units to urgently speed up the construction progress in order to complete and promote efficiency.

At the same time, the investors should coordinate with the People’s Committees of the communes in the project to strengthen propaganda and mobilize people to participate in the management and maintenance for sustainability and the highest efficiency. .
