Affection from the visit

– Over the past time, both the political system and the people in the province have joined hands to materially and spiritually support for the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic, including the important role of the Fatherland Front Committee at all levels in the province in mobilizing and receiving resources and organizing timely and effective support visits. The visits were filled with gratitude, encouraging the forces and the people to be more confident in pandemic prevention and control.

On September 12, 2021, the Fatherland Front Committee of Huu Lung district came to the Fatherland Front Committees of Tay Ho district and Ba Dinh district, Hanoi city to present gifts to support the pandemic prevention and control in these two areas. For each district, the delegation supported 5 tons of food including wax gourd, pumpkin, potato, peanut and dried noodles, worth 70 million VND/district.

Ms. Dao Thi Phuong Lan, Vice Chairwoman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Huu Lung district, said: “During the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic in many localities, including districts of Hanoi city, the Fatherland Front Committee of the district has advised the District Steering Committee for Covid – 19 pandemic prevention and control to support mobilized resources for localities in the “red zone” of the COVID-19 pandemic in Hanoi city to overcome difficulties and control the disease. During that visit, the leaders of the Fatherland Front Committees of the districts expressed their gratitude for the affection and support of the Party Committee, the government and the people of Huu Lung district. At the same time, they affirmed that they would urgently sent the gifts to frontline forces, concentrated quarantine areas and people who are facing difficulties due to the pandemic. This is really a great encouragement for the locality to be determined to control the pandemic and protect people’s lives.

The Fatherland Front Committee of Huu Lung district provides necessities for Ba Dinh district, Hanoi city to prevent and control the COVID-19 pandemic

Previously, on September 10, 2021, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee advised the Provincial Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control to set up a delegation to support 5 tons of wax gourd and 1,500 gifts for Hanoi city to prevent and control the COVID-19 pandemic. The gifts are all local agricultural products such as rice, peanuts, Van Linh dried noodle. Receiving the gifts, Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong, Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Member of the Standing Committee of Hanoi City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi city acknowledged, thanked and appreciated the noble gesture of the Steering Committee for COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, as well as the Party Committee, government and people of Lang Son province having supported Hanoi city in the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic. She affirmed that with the spirit of “Hanoi for the whole country, the whole country for Hanoi”, over the past time, the capital has received help from many provinces and cities throughout the country, both materially and spiritually. According to the reporter’s research, from the beginning of 2021 to the middle of September 2021, from the Provincial Fund for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee advised the Provincial Steering Committee for Pandemic Prevention and Control to support many localities such as the Hai Duong, Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, Binh Duong provinces  and Ho Chi Minh, Hanoi cities… with a total amount of 1.9 billion VND to carry out the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic. In which, the province have sent delegations to some localities such as Bac Giang, Bac Ninh and Hanoi city for direct support. The Provincial Fatherland Front has also coordinated with Thanh Long Co., Ltd., Lang Son city to directly support the provinces of Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, and Ho Chi Minh City with 6,200 boxes of cakes, worth nearly 1.6 billion VND…

Along with supporting provinces and cities, from the beginning of 2021 until now, Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province have advised and coordinated with the Steering Committee for COVID-19 prevention and control at the same level to support forces and people in the province to prevent and control the pandemic. In particular, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has coordinated to send cash and other necessities worth more than 2.7 million VND to districts, medical isolation areas, to support and units participating in pandemic prevention and control with rice, antiseptic water, automatic hand sanitizer machine with a total amount of more than 333 million VND… Support visits always make a deep impression. They demonstrate the concern of Party committees, authorities and people of all ethnic groups in the province, energizing and motivating forces and localities to win over the COVID -19 pandemic.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Van, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, said: “Over the past time, the Fatherland Front Committee from the province to the grassroots has strengthened propaganda and mobilization of resources to support the COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control. With the support of agencies, organizations, businesses and people, the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels have urgently advised the pandemic prevention and control committees at the same level to timely allocate to ensure transparency and effectiveness…”

In the coming time, Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the area will continue to mobilize resources to support forces and localities to prevent and control the COVID-19 pandemic. Thereby, it can contribute to strengthening solidarity, teamwork and determination to overcome difficulties and win over the pandemic.
